ITINERARY

Day 1 : Hanoi arrival (L/D)
Up on arrival at Noi Bai international airport by SQ 176 SIN HAN 950:1220, meet up our guide then transfer for lunch at restaurant and hotel for check in.
14h30: take half day city tour including: ONE PILLAR PAGODA dating from the 11th century, this monument was rebuilt after being destroyed by the French in 1954. Visiting HO CHI MINH MEMORIAL COMPLEX (outside), a lovely park setting which is home to Ho Chi Minh’s final resting place, as well as a museum and other memorials. Continue through the park to HO CHI MINH’s STILT HOUSE, the simple two-room dwelling where Ho Chi Minh lived from 1948 until his final days. Preserved in the same condition as during his life, it may be viewed through the windows. Visit TEMPLE OF LITERATURE, a peaceful series of walled courtyards and graceful gateways, and one of the best surving examples of traditional Vietnamese architecture. Founded in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius, this was also the site of Vietnam’s first university.

Day 2 : Hanoi - Orphanage visit (B/L/D)
08h00: Today, take a visit to 2 Orphanages in Hanoi: SOS children’s village (Cau Giay District) where children who lose the care of their family can grow within a caring family environment
12h00: Lunch at restaurant
13h30: Go visit Thanh Xuan Peace village (Dioxin) - a charity humanitarian which develops all the capabilities of the remaining child congenital birth defects related to Agent Orange - Dioxin, create opportunities for children with disabilities into the early community.
You can participate in activities such as: Doing charity, teaching the children simple English, Story Telling, play games, gardening and landscaping etc.....
15h00: Go to visit War Museum
19h00: Dinner at restaurant before enjoy Water puppet show (20h00)
Overnight in Hanoi

Day 3 : Hanoi – Mai Chau homestay (B/L/D)
08h00: Traveling to the province of Hoa Binh, we pass through a region of spectacular limestone mountains and tea plantations to arrive in Mai Chau - a beautiful valley that is a world away from the hustle of Hanoi. On the way, you can stop for a short visit to tea plantation two sides. After 4 hour driving, you will reach Lac, a village of the Thai ethnic minority in Mai Chau valley.
13h00: Have lunch at local homestay.
In the afternoon trekking to village around Lac village and Pom Coong village, enjoy beautiful, peaceful scenery along the path.
Free at leisure until have dinner at local homestay and enjoy Ethnic White Thai cultural performance with Campfire
Overnight: homestay - Traditional stilt house

Day 4 : Mai Chau trekking – Hanoi – Cyclo tour (B/L/D)
08h00: After breakfast at the homestay, Hand-on activities: cut off rice in rice field. This is the traditional way farmers here use in their harvest. Our guide will lead you how to cut rice off in the field, and some other farming activities farmers have to do in the harvest.
11h30: Have lunch at homestay and say goodbye to the host.
14h00: Stop on the way to communicate with farmers and sugar cane seller. Buy some and enjoy local special sugar cane
17h30: Transfer back to Hanoi in the afternoon.
Upon arrival in Hanoi, relax on a CYCLO TOUR (about 1 hour) around OLD QUARTER. This fascinating network of narrow alleys and shophouses is also known as The 36 Streets, each street being named after the merchandise traditionally sold there, ranging from fabrics to crafts to medicines to tombstones. A handicraft-lover’s paradise and an endlessly interesting place to explore local life.Having dinner at restaurant.
Overnight in Hanoi

Day 5 : Hanoi – Halong – Hanoi (B/L/D)
08h00: After breakfast at the hotel, depart to Halong bay (about 3.5 hours) – one of the world heritage sites. Arrival Ha Long bay,the cruise shall last for 4 hours with Thien Cung grotto, Dau Go cave and enjoy the beauty of nature of Halong Bay. Lunch on boat with seafood.
19h30: Come back to Hanoi in the late afternoon. Dinner at restaurant

Day 6 : Hanoi departure (B)
08h00: Morning, take a short visit to Dong Xuan market for shopping by walking (about 10 minutes from the hotel).

10h00: transfer to airport for departure flight by SQ 175 HAN SIN 1315:1740
